Step 1: Complete Your Online Health Assessment

Everything begins with our confidential online health questionnaire. You’ll be asked about:

  • Your current weight, height, and health history
  • Any existing medical conditions (such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or thyroid disease)
  • Medications you’re currently taking
  • Previous weight loss attempts and results
  • Your weight loss goals

This assessment is thorough because it needs to be — your prescriber depends on this information to make a safe, informed clinical decision. The assessment covers your weight loss goals, preferences, and experience. 

Step 2: A Licensed Canadian Prescriber Reviews Your File

Once submitted, your assessment is reviewed by a licensed Canadian prescriber — a physician or nurse practitioner registered in your province. A physician reviews your history, including family history, medications, and any pre-existing health issues such as diabetes, heart failure, gastrointestinal symptoms, and thyroid disease. The goal is to confirm that weight loss medication is appropriate and safe. 

Not every patient will qualify for prescription medication, and that’s an important part of practicing responsible medicine. Your prescriber may also recommend additional labs or follow-up questions.

Step 3: Your Prescription Is Issued and Sent to a Pharmacy

If prescription weight loss medication is appropriate for your situation, your prescriber issues a prescription and sends it directly to a licensed Canadian pharmacy. This includes both traditional brick-and-mortar pharmacies and online pharmacies that comply with Canadian regulations. 

Step 4: Ongoing Support

Your journey doesn’t end at the prescription. Our platform is designed to support you as you progress — with follow-up check-ins, dosage adjustments, and access to your care team throughout your treatment.
